A look back at St. Philips’ summer highlights…

In June, we celebrated our fifth anniversary with a party for our clients, contacts and friends. With cocktails, food, live music courtesy of Up 4 the Downstroke, exclusive hire of the newly opened Dirty Martini and with over 150 guests from across the property sector, it was a great opportunity to thank them for their invaluable support over the last few years – and for being a part of our business story so far.

Over the summer, we have agreed sponsorship partnerships, supporting local rugby clubs in Hagley and Moseley, assisting with their diverse ambitions in their communities.  As a business promoting and developing land in the West Midlands and with a passion for sport in our communities, we are delighted to be sponsoring the Old Halesonian’s and Moseley Rugby Clubs for the upcoming season.

In September, we sponsored Birmingham Hippodrome’s ‘Street Food and Comedy’ night. With around 100 guests in attendance, the evening was full of laughter with Kevin Bridges’ show ‘Brand New’ in the main auditorium and a private reception. All sales and proceeds raised on the evening went towards Hippodrome charitable projects.

October saw us launch our flagship development for St. Philips Homes, Harborne Place, combining our homebuilding expertise and experience with our desire to bring our first-class service from land delivery to residential construction.  This luxury collection of seven high-specification five bedroom properties in the highly desirable Birmingham suburb of Harborne is located just a short walk away from the high street.  The bespoke homes will appeal to commuters, growing families and downsizers alike.

To compliment our business growth, we have recently expanded our specialist team. Joining St. Philips is Construction Director, Adrian Griffiths who has over 20 years’ housebuilder and surveyor experience, Commercial Director, Andy Warren with 25 years’ construction experience at Taylor Wimpey and Development Manager, Rebecca Birch who is highly skilled in delivering commercial, residential and infrastructure developments, from site appraisal stage through to detailed design and construction.

We currently have over 1,000 plots in the planning or development process and have recently acquired 0.82 acres of land at Belbroughton, with planning permission for residential homes. Launching in early 2019, The Glebe at Belbroughton will comprise a luxury collection of nine homes in the picturesque countryside of North Worcestershire, which will be marketed by Lex Allan.

The last six months have been incredibly exciting, and with an established and growing team of land specialists and our increasing land portfolio, we are looking forward to continuing to promote and develop land to the highest standard.
